About
Hello, My name is Anastazia Mae Miller. Thanks for stopping by to look at my work!
I’ve been illustrating and animating since 2010. My artistic style is rooted in my love of studying anatomy of both animal and human, while bringing a surreal narrative into my pieces. I strive to be a well rounded illustrator; with a depth of understanding of the physical world drawing inspiration and influence from a variety of artists with multiple disciplines and mediums.
In 2019 I graduated from University of Wisconsin Stout, with a BFA in Entertainment Design concentrating in Animation. This degree allowed me to learn 2D, 3D, and Stop Motion animation. My go to programs are Adobe After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
While studying at Stout, I worked for our Memorial Student Center as their Design Team Lead, Animator, and Digital Signage Coordinator. Over those 3 years, I fell in love with working in a team environment; collaborating with other designers that were just as passionate as I was. My favorite part of the week was during our team meetings where we all looked at our current projects, got input, checked in, and planned for the week ahead. We all became very close and it made the design process all the more enjoyable.
My time spent outside of design consists of hanging out with my 4 year old lab (Leo), and my husband Gavin. The three of us love to take advantage of the Minnesota outdoors to go fishing, hiking, and paddling. When the weather is not friendly for that, I spend a good amount of time playing video games and reading.
